On Friday July 26, 2013 the Maiden audition for MTV’s Shuga held at Protea Hotel, Ikoyi Westwood in Lagos. Hundreds of talented actors from different cities in and out of Nigeria came to seek a role in the series which is making its debut in Nigeria.
Celebrity guests Gabriel Afolayan, Makida Moka, Mo Eazy, Zaina, Kaylah and others also stopped by to encourage contestants and join the fun as they took part in the auditions.
Lucky contestants will join Nigerian actor and musician Ikubese Emmanuel Ifeanyichukwu and Kenyan actor, singer and radio presenter Nick Mutuma on the award winning series.
