Producers of family TV show Nigeria’s Got Talent have confirmed the show is back for a second season. The announcement was made today Thursday, October 3, 2013 at a media event held at GET Arena, Lekki, Lagos.

There are no major changes for this year’s show though: last year’s host Andre Blaze will still be in charge.
Last season’s judges Kate Henshaw, Dan Foster or Yibo Koko will also return.

‘It hasn’t being easy preparing for another season as all hands have been on deck to make it a blast. Gifted Nigerians, male and female of all ages with talent in acrobatics, magic display, fire eating, and others will have yet another chance to showcase their talent and a chance to walk away with the much coveted grand prize’, Managing Director, Rapid Blue Format Rotimi Pedro said at the media event.

Pedro also owns Optima Media Group, the multimedia company which holds the Nigerian Idol and X Factor franchise in Nigeria.

Last year 8-year-old Amarachi Uyanne won the contest, walking away with a cash prize of N10m.
Regional auditions will kick off on October 9, 2013 in Abuja and run till October 27, 2013 when the Lagos editions will hold.
