Kenya Boys Choir to perform at IMFS



The young band made of Kenyans between the ages of 13 and 24 have received an invitation to perform at the 2014 Intercultural music Festival and Symposium (IMFS) in the United States.

Kenya Boys Choir will join a host of other artists to perform at the IMFS, formerly known as FESAAM (Festival of African and African American Music).

In 2009, the group performed at the inauguration of the US president, Barack Obama in Washington D.C.
Founded in 1998 by Joseph Muyale Inzai, the African traditional and contemporary male voice choir have released three albums ‘Uvumbuz’ (2004), ‘Amerika Jambo’(2008) and ‘Spirit of Africa’(2009)
